Description

VINTAGE NEWSPAPER ARTICLE
This is an article my mother cut out of either the Los Angeles Times Newspaper or the Santa Ana Register Newspaper about Walt & Lillian Disney arriving from New York aboard the Panama Pacific Liner to begin work on a new 2 year contract with United Artists. I believe this pinpoints the date of the article at 1932 as this is when he signed the UA contract. Walt shares in the interview his inspiration for Mickey Mouse. Article was cut out of the paper and glued into a scrapbook and subsequently glued into another scrapbook. There is some damage to the bottom edge of the article (SEE PHOTO #2) and minor damage to the top edge; but you can make out what it says. Article measures approx. 9" x 4" and is in Acceptable Condition considering it's 89 years old. It will be shipped in a cellophane sleeve with plenty of cardboard. From a smoke-free, pet-free home; feel free to message me with any questions.
