Vintage Skater's Kerosene Lantern

or your consideration is a kerosene skater's lantern.  Skater's lanterns were manufactured by various companies.  I do not when skater's lanterns were first or last manufactured, but were popular in the 1890s.  This lantern is almost 7" tall and the bottom of the kerosene has a diameter of 2 7/8"
This lantern is an old item that has been used.  The carrying handle is missing.  The metal will not unscrew from the top of the glass globe,  The burner will not unscrew from the kerosene fount.  In both cases, I used 0 penetrating oil and only used my bare hands when I attempted to unscrew.  The wick is bad and will not move when the thumbwheel is turned.  The metal piece that the bottom of the glass globe screws into, has four very tiny vertical cracks,  The chrome colored paint is not original.  Many people (including me) would say the metal needs to be properly prepped and repainted.  Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description.
