OK so now you think I have lost it... well you gotta agree this thing is crazy cool. The tin shoe sign is from the mid 1900's some where in there. It was mounted on top of a flat surface, like a box sign with the store name on it or a roof or something.
It originally had neon outlining around it so that it was we did in new 2 color neon. The outline is blue and the buckle is white. The blue paint is probably original but worn as you can see and the back side has even less paint. Someone added touches of silver sparkle paint to it which just seems so appropriate.
The sign is 85" long x 46 1/4" high x 8" deep including neon and brackets. There are four mounting brackets so that it can be securely hung flat on a wall or wherever. We have mounted it on a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood so we can handle it safely. It weighs around 60 lbs.
You can see this in person at the Columbia Rivertowne Antique Center, Columbia, PA.
We are experienced neon craters and we can safely crate and deliver this piece in the US. Please ask for a quotation.
