MANY SURPRISING FEATURES OF THE NEW GOVERNMENT
The British newspapers at this time were dominated by two things: Firstly, the progress of the First World War overseas and the war effort at home; secondly, the shake-up of the British government after the resignation, on December 5th, of Prime Minister H.H. Asquith and his replacement by David Lloyd George.
Each issue also has many other interesting articles, reports, advertisements, and gossip.
All newspapers are a slightly brittle and browned, and a little ragged around the edges and center crease, but all are in pretty good condition with no major tears and no cutouts.
Items will be shipped via Media Mail, packed flat between cardboard. Thanks for looking.
