Its historyhttps://sparkling.toureiffel.paris/
Constructed in 1889 by Gustave Eiffel for the Universal Exhibition, the Eiffel Tower symbolises Paris and human genius throughout the whole world.
It was to celebrate the year 2000 that the Eiffel Tower glittered for the first time. A magical illumination in the Paris sky, and an eagerly-awaited spectacle every night, five minutes of sparkling mark the beginning of each hour after nightfall. The flashing light presented here is an authentic lamp which will help to make the Eiffel Tower sparkle. The sparkling effect was designed by Pierre Bideau, a renowned light designer.
In 2003 Pfannenberg brought the Eiffel Tower back into the limelight, under the guidance of the architect Pierre Bideau. Since then billions of people from around the world marvelled at the flashing lights covering one of the most famous urban landmarks.
