    This is the Sunday Magazine of the Philadelphia Press from January 26, 1908. The illustration on the front cover is of an old sailor at the wheel of a ship. The publication includes numerous short articles and stories, features, black & white illustrations and vintage advertisements. The back page has color advertisements.
    It contains 20 pages and measures approximately 10.25 x 14.5 inches.
    The Philadelphia Press (1857-1920) was one of Philadelphia's oldest major newspapers. It
    was founded by John Weiss Forney. Charles Emory Smith was editor and owned a stake in the paper from 1880 until his death in 1908. In 1920, it was purchased by Cyrus H. K. Curtis, who merged the Press into the Public Ledger.
