Note: The earliest issues of Strategy and Tactics Magazine did not have games included in them.
Notes about SPI Reprint Editions: Simulations Publications continuously reprinted their earliest issues for several years to sell as part of their mail order line. (You can see the ads in most issues). Unlike the reprints of the later issues that were like a normal magazine (saddle stitched and at least had the ‘courtesy’ to be labeled reprints in some cases); these were frequently only photocopies produced on the antiquated copy machines of the time. They really are ‘official’ even though they are good for little more than reading copies with slight collector value.
This is an “official” SPI reprint of this early issue. The original was printed on oversize glossy paper
This copy was professionally printed on regular size paper with a corner staple. The staples are rusted, and the magazine shows areas of age discoloration around them. There is a number written on the cover. Overall the remainder is clean, unmarked and guaranteed complete.
