Martial Arts Patch “When In Doubt Choke Him Out” Clif's Patch

I had lunch with Clif one day.  I was going to his house to help him sell some items.  He checked the mail as we came in the door.  There was a large brown envelope.   Clif read the letter and then invited me to read it.  It was from  Gene L*****  (name withheld as per Clif).   Inside was 10 of these patches.   Clif was going to pass them out to people he knew and he gave me two for helping him.   I wouldn't take payment so Clif made it up by giving me stuff.   I would have liked the letter for the autograph but I wasn't complaining.   Clif knew I would eventually sell one.   I know these aren't exactly the same as the patches that L****** give out since those have his name on it.  Same design but different patch.   I was told by another known judoka that attend his seminar or be his student then one get's a patch with his name on it.   He sent out other similar patches to people he was friendly with.  Clif said the two had never done Judo together but had been at several different seminars over the years.    They weren't friends but acquaintances particularly as they became elder statesmen of Judo.
Condition is "New” never sewn, never ironed-on, never washed. All but one has been previously worn. As can be seen in our photos. The round patches measure 3 1/2”
