Original newspaper clipping from a german newspaper from the 30's - advertisement for the german Veedol oil, which was used by the legendary zeppelin airship LZ 129
The LZ 129 "Hindenburg" crashed on May 6, 1937, during a scheduled flight as part of the DZR's North America program from Frankfurt am Main to Lakehurst while landing at the airship port there.  Of the 36 passengers and 61 crew aboard, 13 passengers and 22 crew died, as well as one member of the ground crew, a total of 36 lives lost. Herbert Morrison's commentary of the incident became a classic of audio history.
The 6.3 x 5 inch newspaper clipping shows the Hindenburg LZ 129and the text reads:
LZ 129 also uses "Veedol". The beginning of a new era in aviation. 4400 hp, the combined power of 4 diesel engines, propel the new "Flying Hotel" through the air on its overflights. The use of diesel propulsion marks the dawn of a new era in airship construction. Veedol ensures the safe operation of the diesel engines. Veedol has already protected the engines on the 1.5 million kilometers run by the Graf Zeppeling airship. The high strength of Veedol oil has been indisputably proven on these flights. Is it any wonder that this exquisite Pennsylvanian oil was also chosen to lubricate the Hindenburg's 4400 hp engine system? Here, the car driver can learn from the zeppelin driver. Give it a try and the next time your car needs oil, have the crankcase filled with Veedol. Give your car the protection of a Zeppelin machine ! Never forget that nothing is more expensive than cheap oil and that nothing costs less than good Veedol.
