Bob,
I love the goose necks.  I have one installed as a test and will do the rest this week. In fact, I am going to order two more.
I custom fabricate these industrial quality Goose Neck mounts upon order. There may a delay of up to 5 days prior to shipment (depending on the size of the order)  because I fabricate these to order when a buyer purchases them.  Orders for 1 to 4 pieces will usually will ship the next day.
This custom made industrial strength Goose Neck mount is designed for exterior (or interior) wall mounting of Barn Light Fixtures and other Similar Fixtures that utilize a 1/2" female pipe thread opening in the top of the fixture.
This wall mount is engineered to hold a fixture of up to 50 pounds in the most sever weather conditions such as high winds, and heavy snow loads.
Goosneck mounts sold by other sellers, which have only one attachment point at the electrical box, will not withstand severe stress loads like this industrially engineered design with 2 mounting flanges.  You could easily hang an 80 pound bag of cement from this gooseneck mount when it is properly attached to your masonry or solid wood wall.  If you tried that with other goosenecks it would snap off the wall. No one else has a gooseneck mount design that is engineered to withstand severe loads like this.  Yes...the competition sells theirs for less, but you get what you pay for.  You be the judge.
My primary customers are electrical contractors who want a strong mount that will not break under adverse conditions such as high wind or heavy snow loads.  Professional contractors understand the loads and stresses involved in supporting a big heavy industrial light fixture,  and they overwhelmingly choose my design and are willing to pay a bit more for a mount that will not fail under stress.
Each "Goose Neck" mount is fabricated from 1/2" galvanized
rigid steel conduit
(NOT FLIMSY EMT THIN-WALL),
custom bent and threaded.  The bottom flange is a standard waterproof die cast aluminum fixture plate designed to mount to a standard 4" octagon junction box recessed into the wall of your building.  The upper flange is a standard
cast iron pipe flange
(designed to be secured to the wall of your building). The upper flange is attached to a custom machined 1/2" pipe Tee which has been machined to slide up and down vertically on the "Goose Neck" "J" pipe.  Two #10-32 set screws have been provided in the side of the Tee to secure the Tee to the "J" pipe at what ever vertical height best suits your installation requirements.  Your fixture wiring passes through the "J" pipe, down through the bottom elbow and into the electrical junction box in the wall of your building.  The entire vertical height from the top of the arch to the bottom of the electrical flange is 27" and the distance from the wall to the outside of the "J" bend is 15".  It will accommodate a fixture of up to 18" in diameter.
I can also custom fabricate these to make the overall height taller or shorter as may be required for you specific application.  Please send me a message if you require a "Gooseneck" that is taller or shorter than the standard dimensions above.
