    Available is a rare , one of a kind four page sports section that came from an October 10, 1928 edition of an San Francisco Chronicle newspaper. The front page contains a large bold headline with story and picture announcing that Babe Ruth hit 3 home runs in the final game of the 1928 World Series to help win the game and the series for the New York Yankees against the St. Louis Cardinals 4-0. The photo of Babe Ruth shows his classic swing. The front page contains extensive news about the series. The pages measure 17" x 23".
    Condition
    This newspaper pages are in very good condition. However, the pages should still be treated as delicate and handled with care upon receipt. This newspaper pages originally came from a bound library volume and may exhibit typical chipping and paper loss on the edges.
