This original sports page came from an October 3, 1922 edition of San Francisco Chronicle newspaper. The page contains a large bold banner headline announcing that the New York Yankees and Giants are preparing for the 1922 World Series. The page contains two great photos, one of New York Giants manager John Mcgraw with coaches Hughie Jennings and Cozey Dolan and the other photo is of key players of the Giants team that include Frankie Frisch and Casey Stengel. The page measures 17" x 23".
Condition
This newspaper page is in good condition. However, the page should be treated as delicate and handled with care upon receipt. This newspaper page originally came from a bound library volume and exhibits typical chipping and paper loss on the edges.
