Available is color newspaper page that came from a 1915 Sunday edition of a San Francisco Chronicle newspaper. The page contains a story about French designer Paul Pioret and his efforts to support the war against germany by designing gas masks for WWI soldiers on the front. The page measure 17" x 23".Paul Poiret was a French fashion designer, a master couturier during the first two decades of the 20th century. He was the founder of his namesake haute couture house. His contributions to his field have been likened to Picasso's legacy in 20th-century art.
Condition
This newspaper page is in good condition. However, the page should be treated as delicate and handled with care upon receipt. This newspaper page originally came from a bound library volume and may exhibit typical chipping and paper loss on the edges.
